The Flagler County Chamber of Commerce was formed in 1962 to give voice to a growing business community. Four years later, businesses that relied on pass by traffic along US1 and A1A saw the completion of Interstate I-95 as a threat. The Chamber enlisted the support of its members and area businesses to raise money to erect billboards on I-95, reminding motorists that the long-standing commercial corridors in Flagler County remained open for business. The Chamber’s call to action compelled businesses to join and invest in the sustainability of local businesses and the community.
As a result of our investments and membership support, we have nearly 690 active members and are adding between 12 and 18 new members each. At this pace of growth, it has become increasingly challenging to deliver exceptional service and outstanding value, while juggling programs, events and products to fulfill our mission of engaging, promoting and sustaining a thriving business climate in Flagler County.
That’s why we are reaching out to valued members like you, our long-term supporters, who can help us continue to fulfill our mission by participating in Chamber 62, An Investment in Excellence. Your one-time contribution of $1000 will help us invest in new technology; infrastructure; marketing campaigns; social media platforms; staff training and development; enhanced member benefits; and operational efficiency to create a more sustainable and competitive model of engagement, visibility, connections and resources for all of our existing and new members.
I hope you will consider adding your name to the following list of businesses and community partners that have already stepped up in helping us build and secure our bridge to the future. Join us in becoming a member of this elite and selective group of innovators, visionaries and purposeful leaders.
Thank you in advance for your support and consideration of this request. Please call me with any questions at 386-206-0950.
