Join us for two Saturday’s in January for FBHM Native American Pottery Days. Docent Don Davis, a professional potter, will lead a three-hour pottery class on Saturday, January 12th at the museum to introduce attendees to the Indian artifact collection and reproduce two to three pieces of pottery from the Timucuan period. Two weeks later on Saturday, January 26th attendees will again meet at the Museum for smudge pot firing of their pieces, a special decorative effect.
Both days will start at 10am and last approximately three hours for session one and two hours for session two. Tools and supplies are included in the registration price. Register via online or e-mail. Walk-ups are welcome.
