The Ormond Beach Historical Society and park staff invite you on a tram tour to an area never-before-open to the public! Join Dr. Jon Endonino, Asst Professor, Dept of Anthropology at Eastern Kentucky University, as he shares his site mapping work (TAP-Tomoka Archeology Project) at this Mound/Midden Complex. This NEW event takes visitors through the recently excavated Indian mounds called the Tomoka Mound Complex, an area rich in Native American history. Tickets are $15/Adult, $7/Kids (5-12 years) for non-members and $13/Adult for OBHS members. Afterwards, the Friends of Tomoka Basin State Parks will host a picnic (food available for purchase) at the South Picnic Area on the Tomoka River. All proceeds go towards supporting the park.
