We teach tai chi and qi gong as part of the Asian Fitness program. Asian Fitness is a unique and totally holistic approach to health and well- being. It is an exercise program encompassing many Asian concepts from yoga, qi gong (chi gong), tai chi and other forms of physical culture. But it is more than that. It is also a philosophical way of thinking. It uses meditation practices to focus oneself and teaches one to become centered. It reduces stress and produces a feeling of calm and well-being. These techniques have been practiced in the Orient for thousands of years. Through exercise, meditation and breathing exercises a feeling of self-confidence is achieved along with a healthful approach to living. The Asian Fitness Low impact program is especially beneficial for seniors. The program provides a good environment for continued health and fitness.
