In 2013, the Chamber rolled out a program to increase member involvement, recruitment and retention. The Membership Committee invited a select group of members to participate in the Chamber Ambassador Program. Members were selected based on their professionalism, enthusiasm and collaboration they have demonstrated in promoting and expanding chamber membership. These members have learned how to maximize their membership and are willing to not only teach, but to motivate other members to do the same. Ambassadors help current members reconnect and step up their involvement, while also welcoming and engaging new members.
Ambassadors represent the Chamber at local events such as Business After Hours, ribbon cuttings, grand openings, breakfasts, luncheons and other functions. Through their involvement, ambassadors promote the Chamber, encourage member engagement and enhance the overall member experience.
