Rothar and his wife, Carolyn raised their two children in Queens New York where he spent 25 years with the New York Transit Authority. After retiring, he moved his family to Palm Coast and worked 5.5 years for Flagler Transportation.
Rothar resigned in 2011 to spend more time giving back. Rothar is a mentor with the African American Mentor Program, working with young men in the Flagler Public School System.
A charter member of our local chapter of the global public speaking organization, Toastmaster, where he has been a member for over 20 years. He is also the co-sponsor of several other Toastmaster clubs. He believes that the success of any business is communication and leadership.
Faithfully attending a variety of networking events, book study groups and Masterminds gatherings, Rothar generously shares his life lessons and offers his expertise as a leader and John C. Maxwell Certified Coach.
Rothar spends many hours each week as a community volunteer, serving patrons of Palm Coast's popular meeting spot, Fair Trade Cafe, and Grace Food Pantry. His most recent endeavor is Account Executive with the Flagler County Chamber of Commerce.
Dedicated to living a healthy life, physically and financially, he spends early morning hours at the gym working on his physical fitness. Rothar is also a member of a health and wellness company and lives their mission statement ''Enhancing the lives of those we touch by helping people reach their goals.''
