Flagler Tiger Bay Club Welcomes Rhonda Harvey
The Flagler Tiger Bay Club is pleased to welcome Chief Operating Officer for SMA Healthcare, Rhonda Harvey for the June meeting to discuss navigating the landscape of behavioral healthcare. Mr. Graham will join members and guests for the luncheon and presentation on June 19th, at the Hammock Dunes Club in Palm Coast, starting at 11:30 am. During her twenty-four year tenure, Ms. Harvey has helped to transform the face of behavioral healthcare in Volusia, Flagler, Putnam and St. Johns Counties. Under her direction, SMA served over 26,000 clients in 2018 at fourteen locations in the four county area. She is proud to serve her local community leaders, families and law enforcement personnel by providing education and resources on mental health, addiction and suicide prevention. Ms. Harvey is an active member of Florida Behavioral Health Association, Florida Alcohol and Drug Abuse Association and the Florida Council for Community Mental Health. She taught “Drugs and Crime, A Perspective on Treatment and the Impact on Criminal Behavior,” for the University of Central Florida. Ms. Harvey holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Louisville, and a Juris Doctorate from the Brandies School of Law, Louisville, Kentucky.
